PLEASE! Be aware that when you make an appointment, I am setting an hour aside for you. I will also honor the fact that you have set that same hour aside for me.
Things happen that cause last minute cancellations such as vehicle trouble, snow or other road or weather issues, being sick, a sick child or other emergencies. Please call ASAP if something happens so we can possibly work around the problem.
Also know that I would rather not see you if you are sick, please call as soon as you know that you are not well enough to come to your appointment. Sometimes the stage of a cold where you are no longer contagious is a questionable time, please call and ask.
Cancellation Policy We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:
24 hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment.
This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give at least 2 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. $45 may be charged for less than 24 hours. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.
Snow and weather conditions happen, but dont make me drive through the snow only to discover that YOU thought it was too bad to drive!
Call me ASAP if you cant come,!
No-shows Anyone who either forgets or chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged for their “missed” appointment.
For persons that are under Auto insurance, this fee will need to come out of YOUR pocket.
If you are using a discount certificate, gift certificate or something similar, you may forfit the discount of the certificate if you do not show up or fail to cancel with 24 hours notice!
Late Arrivals If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Weather and road conditions, sometimes make it impossible to arrive on time. Some times, I can give the full hour, or switch the time. I can not make someone else wait, becasue you where late. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.
Please call right away if you are going to be late and I can tell you what the situation is at that time.
